Subway Token Earrings made from genuine small cutout "Y" NYC tokens.  These tokens are slightly smaller than a US Dime -- see photos for size comparison. The front-facing side says "NEW YORK CITY TRANSIT AUTHORITY" and the back side says "GOOD FOR ONE FARE." (see photo).

LIMITED QUANTITY: As time passes these tokens become more rare and difficult to find. I have a small inventory of these tokens, and in the future these earrings will only be available if I can acquire more tokens. Small Cutout Y Tokens were good for one fare/ride on the NYC subway system from 1953-1970 and had a total mintage of 48 million. NYC Subway tokens are no longer produced or used, replaced by the "MetroCard."

These earrings are made to order, therefore the pair pictured are not the actual earrings you will receive, but an accurate representation.
